The Second City’s Busiest Architects
When one thinks of tech hubs in America, your mind will usually go straight to Silicon Valley or San Francisco.
Chicago usually isn’t too high on the list, but the Windy City is finally drawing more tech jobs and people into its limits.
In 2017 and 2018, the city’s tech labor force grew 8% higher than 2015 and 2016.
That’s one reason why there’s so many multifamily construction projects being built in the Loop.
In addition to tech jobs, Chicago also attracts top-notch architecture talent.
We’re going to be looking at four of the top multifamily architects with the most residential units in their pipelines.
The first architecture firm on our list is the 2018 AIA Chicago Firm of the Year:
Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture
BuildCentral’s research shows that there are 2,794 units in either planning or construction. Let’s look at three of HPA’s current projects.
